Our Origin Story
ISSS was established in 1992 originally as a machinery supplier to the apparel industry. However, through deep engagement with manufacturing floors, we quickly analyzed a critical reality: simply buying advanced hardware was not enough. Apart from machinery, factories fundamentally required structured systems and strategic solutions to achieve true cost-cutting and quality improvement.
When compared with advanced manufacturing sectors like electronic chip making and automotive assembly, the garment industry severely lagged behind in process automation, structured skill development, and long-term research-backed planning. Crucial, highly successful operational frameworks utilized in other advanced fields—such as the Theory of Constraints (TOC), thorough data digitization, unified departmental goal alignment, and sustained investment in long-term skill development—were entirely missing from the apparel ecosystem.
Recognizing this massive research gap, ISSS pivoted. We committed to developing proprietary engineering solutions that cut operational costs and elevate garment quality by aggressively applying these sophisticated, time-tested concepts from advanced global industries right to the apparel floor.

ISSS was envisioned and built by Mr. Ravee Parthasaarathi. Combining expertise across industrial engineering, machine reverse engineering, project implementation, computer science and the Theory of Constraints (TOC), he designed the core methodologies that power every ISSS intervention.
Early in his career, he recognized a systemic flaw in the apparel industry's focus on individual operator efficiency—the belief that keeping every needle moving at 100% meant a factory was profitable. Through TOC, he identified the operational trap: maximizing non-bottleneck activity creates excess Work-in-Progress (WIP), conceals quality defects and slows the entire production line.
To break this cycle, he shaped the ISSS philosophy by blending information technology with industrial engineering. ISSS helps manufacturers move from local worker efficiency to global system throughput: identifying true constraints, dynamically balancing lines and delivering high-quality orders faster and more profitably.
